One man was injured after gunfire broke out Friday night in St. Paul's Hamline Park, according to St. Paul police.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. after two men on bikes approached a third man in Hamline Park and both sides exchanged gunfire, St. Paul police spokesman Steve Linders said.

Police say one man was taken to a local hospital and treated for injuries that weren't life-threatening.
