One motorcycle ran into another in East Bethel Saturday afternoon, killing an Eden Prairie woman and injuring three others.

The motorcycles, each driven by a man and carrying a female passenger, were traveling north on Highway 65 when they collided near the intersection of 184th Avenue NE. shortly before 3 p.m., according to Lt. Brent Erickson with the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

The State Patrol said a 2011 Harley-Davidson was slightly ahead of the other, a 1995 Harley-Davidson, when the lead cycle turned right to exit at 184th and was struck by the other, according to the State Patrol.

Both motorcycles rolled and all four occupants were thrown off, the State Patrol said.

Sara Cassell Gilbert, 50, of Eden Prairie, was riding on the 1995 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and died at the scene. The driver was Gregory William Ettawageshik, 56, of Minneapolis. He has life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Neil Raymond Tessier, 50, of Blaine was driving the 2011 Harley-Davidson. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids with noncritical injuries.

His passenger was Sherri Ann MacRae, 46, of Lino Lakes. She was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, also with noncritical injuries.

Alcohol was involved in the crash, according to the State Patrol, and no one was wearing a helmet.

The relationships between the people on the motorcycles was not immediately known.
