A head-on collision on a central Minnesota highway left one driver dead and six other people injured, officials said.

One of the drivers was hospitalized with critical injuries, the State Patrol said.
The crash occurred shortly before noon Saturday northwest of Princeton on Hwy. 95 near 120th Avenue, the State Patrol said.
Ulysses Stephen Chase, 36, of Harris, Minn., was heading east in his car on Hwy. 95, crossed the centerline and struck a westbound SUV, the patrol said. Chase died at the scene.
Two boys in his car, ages 11 and 13, and a 41-year-old woman were all hospitalized with noncritical injuries, according to the patrol.
The other driver, Geralyn Marie Weitzel, 63, of Menomonie, Wis., was taken by ambulance to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with critical injuries, the patrol said.
Two people in her SUV, a 38-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl, suffered noncritical injuries.
The dockworkers’ union has agreed to suspend the strike until January to negotiate a new contract, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.
