On the Shelf: Kitchen craft

Kitchen craft Mark your calendar for April 18 through 20 when the American Craft Show is at the St. Paul RiverCentre (175 W. Kellogg Blvd.), featuring work from more than 200 artists. Admission is $12, or $18 for a two-day pass; children 12 and under are free. Doors open at 10 a.m. Tickets are available through www.craftcouncil.org/stpaul. Among the artwork are these pieces suited for the table:

Handblown glassware by Harry and Wendy Besett, including the Fritted Swedish Glogg set, $280. Individual pieces range from $46 to $84.

Whimsical pottery by Nancy Gardener, including this cream and sugar set, $110.

Ceramic pieces in shapes of berries, gourds and flowering cabbages by Jan Bilek, including the Flowering Cabbage Trio, $500.

Sushi boards and chopsticks from Davin & Kesler, made of maple and cocobolo wood; board, $85, chopsticks, $20.
