Art-A-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country and has been put on by the Northeast Minneapolis Art Association (NEMAA) for the past 20 years. This year there are over 600 artists specializing in sculpture, painting, clay, photography and many other mediums. Studio tours are a good way to explore all there is to see in one of the most creative districts in the United States. There are also many beer and music events going on in conjunction with this annual event. Here is a guide to help you get the most out of your weekend.
331 Club: Northeast's favorite dive bar will be hosting music both indoors and out all weekend long — with NO COVER. Be sure not to miss Buildings or self-evident if you go on Friday.
