SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Jersey's Olivia Jordan-Higgins won the Credit Union Classic on Sunday for her first Symetra Tour victory, holding off Thailand's P.K. Kongkraphan by a stroke.

Jordan-Higgins, a former Charleston Southern player, shot a 1-over 72 in the round delayed 4 hours, 12 minutes became of rain. She finished at 6-under 207 on the Drumlins Country Club's East Course.

"I've waited a long, long time for this," Jordan-Higgins said. "I had a lot of close finishes but this feels amazing."

Jordan-Higgins earned $15,000 to jump to sixth on the money list with $29,453. The final top 10 will earn 2014 LPGA Tour cards.

"That's definitely a dream come true. That's what I've been waiting for," Jordan-Higgins said. "I was very close last year, but it's not something I can really focus on from here on out because anything can happen, we still have four events to go. It's obviously exciting, but I still have to focus on what I need to do and each shot at a time."

Kongkraphan closed with a 70. She won last week in New Hampshire and leads the money list with $41,528.

Amy Meier was third at 4 under after a 69.
