Not that he admires them. He just wants the world to know he understands them. He said this about Stalin and Hitler last January:
Dude. Stalin fought the German War Machine in the same sense a movie director fights the war, by telling other people how to do it, then watching them do it. At least movie directors don't execute directors of photography or lighting, and don't kill all the gaffers when the film performs poorly at the box office.
