Go HERE: Fine article on the difference between Old World Computers - e.g., the thing on your desk - and the nimble new tightly-focussed machines that will rule our future. Nice to see something that isn't A) blind raving about the imminent perfect future, or B) admits there are trade-offs en route to general technological advances. This won't placate any Apple haters; if Jobs announced a cure for cancer, people would complain if it came in a white vial and you had to use their needles.
