Obamas on bullying

Public can participate in Thursday's White House summit on bullying prevention by submitting questions online, watching webcast or joining Facebook discussion.

President Obama and the First Lady host the White House Conference on Bullying Prevention at 10 a.m. CT Thursday, in reaction to continued reports of bullying incidents and the toll they take on children and teens. The event includes live online video and a discussion forum on Facebook. Anyone with a question for the event's panel of experts can submit one to White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.

It seems like new studies on the root of bullying come out every week. Last month, I blogged about a study that found many bullies target others at similar social levels in order to move themselves up the popularity ladder.
