Obama = Hubert?

Jeb Bush spares few words, lashing the incumbent to an old-fashioned liberal icon.

Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor and only member of his family's political dynasty willing to speak out these days, has reached back into history (too far back for many of today's voters to recall) to bash President Obama.

In an interview with a New York Times reporter, Bush likened Obama to Minnesota's most towering DFL icon:

"By and large, I think the president, instead of being a 21st-century leader, is Hubert Humphrey on steroids. I don't think there's much newness in spending more money as the solution to every problem."
