Quick, name someone who has won both a National Book Award and been inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. It's "World According to Garp" author John Irving. The best-selling novelist, who also won an Oscar for his screenplay for "The Cider House Rules," will appear in Minneapolis at 7 p.m. on November 9 to read from his newest novel, "Last Night in Twisted River." The reading will be at the Suburban World Theater, 3022 Hennepin Av. S. Tickets, available only at Magers & Quinn bookstore (3038 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 612-822-4611), are $30.25, and include admission to the reading and a signed copy of Irving's new novel.
