Not a bird problem

Chickadees just aren't that tough

My writing partner on the StarTribune birding page, Val Cunningham, received a note asking her for possible solutions to a "bird problem." Chickadees were pecking large holes in the window frames on the man's house. That is not a bird problem. That is a window problem.
