Rain and strong coastal winds will hit the Pacific Northwest on Sunday as the
first in a long series of storms rolls ashore on the West Coast.
Rain will fall heavy at times along the coast and in some areas along the I-5 corridor. Higher amounts of rainfall through Sunday night will reach 1- to- 2 inches.
Along and near the coast, highest wind will gust 40 to 50 mph late Saturday night through midday on Sunday In some areas strong winds will last into Sunday night.
