Northeast Storm Makeup

A storm will slowly intensify Saturday as it tracks into the Northeasternstates. Little, if any, snow is expected in the major cities from Washington,D.C. to New York, but there could be some mixed precipitation at the start.The heaviest snow will fall from northeastern Pennsylvania to eastern Maine,with at least 3 inches through Saturday night. Up to 10 inches could accumulatefrom central New England to coastal Maine.

Rain and mixed precipitation will change to snow before ending fromnortheastern Tennessee to West Virginia.
