December 28, 2009 at 8:25PM

Accumulating snow will spread from northern New England into Atlantic CanadaMonday night through Tuesday, as a weak storm develops along an arctic coldfront. In general, 3-6 inches of new snow can be expected from northern New Hampshirethrough most of New Brunswick and eventually up into Labrador.

Motorists in this region will encounter snowcovered roads and low visibilityMonday night and early Tuesday. Later Tuesday, the snow will diminish acrossnorthern New England, but stronger winds will lead to extensive blowing anddrifting of snow, which will greatly reduce visibility to 100 yards or less attimes.
