Northeast Snowfall Accumulation Map

A storm will continue to intensify near eastern Maine through tonight as itdrifts toward the north.The heaviest snow from the storm will fall tonight into Saturday morning overthe Adirondacks of upstate New York and the higher ground of far northern NewEngland and southern Quebec. People who live in these areas could be diggingout from up to half a foot of snow by Saturday morning.

The mountains of western Pennsylvania and West Virginia could have a slushyinch or two of snow into Friday night. Roads will be slick, so motorists areurged to take their time into tonight.

The I-95 corridor in the Northeast will just get rain, but strong winds willmake this storm feel cold. It will feel more like the 20s in the major citiesof this corridor Friday night.
