Two key ingredients must come together for the development of this potential monster. The storm that brings snow to Texas today would have to reach the Northeast at the same time arctic air invades.
More details of the storm will become clearer during the coming days. The storm may never even take shape or it may be substantially less potent than some indicators show at the present time. One way or another, it would behoove Northeasterners to keep an eye on this one, as it could yield a disruptive snowstorm beginning on Thursday.
