ANDOVER

JUNE 14

Property damage. Police were called to a home on the 2400 block of 164th Avenue NW regarding property damage. Someone had spray-painted profanity on the garage door.

JUNE 16

Theft. Someone stole money from an unlocked vehicle on the 13800 block of Palm Street NW.

COON RAPIDS

JUNE 9

Theft. A man called police to report that his vehicle was stolen from the 200 block of 102nd Lane NW. It was parked on the street. He had left it unlocked with a spare key under the driver's seat.

JUNE 14

Theft. A man called police to report a theft at McDonald's, 13020 Riverdale Dr. NW. The man said he left his cell phone on the toilet paper holder in the bathroom and when he returned, the cell phone was gone.

JUNE 18

Illegal burning. The fire department requested police assistance at a home on the 10200 block of Sycamore Street NW. for an illegal recreational fire. Firefighters observed flames higher than the roof. The resident would not let firefighters into his yard. When police arrived, the 42-year-old resident, who police said was intoxicated, was demanding the police and fire department stay off his property. The officer requested the fire department be allowed to make sure the fire was extinguished. The man was arrested for obstructing the legal process and illegal burning.

JUNE 21

Theft. A woman called police to report a theft from her home on the 12400 block of Monroe Street NW. Someone stole her patio furniture and a tomato plant.

EAST BETHEL

JUNE 12

Theft. Police were called to a home on the 2400 block of 221st Avenue NE regarding a theft. Someone stole a motorcycle that was parked in a pole barn.

Weapon. Someone called police to report that a man was running around a yard in the 8100 block of Fairmont Circle NE. with a black handgun. Police determined it was a case of people playing with squirt guns. They were advised to use orange tape or something similar to make the squirt gun look less real.

JUNE 11

Disorderly conduct. A union organizer called police to report that striking nurses were almost hit by a vehicle that charged through their picket line at Unity Hospital, 550 Osborne Rd., according to police reports. An officer arrived and observed the striking nurses obstructing traffic. One nurse who was picketing was observed striking a delivery truck numerous times with an "On Strike" sign, according to police reports.

Animal complaint. A man called police to report that a woodchuck was loose in his vehicle at the Holiday Station at 5695 Hackmann Av. NE. An officer responded and caught the woodchuck and placed it in a pet carrier so the caller could release the animal in another area.

MOUNDS VIEW

JUNE 16

Underage consumption. Police arrested a 20-year-old Texas woman on the 5000 block of Wellington Avenue for underage consumption of alcohol. She was transported to a detox facility.

Underage consumption. A mother brought her 14-year-old daughter to the police department because she was causing a disturbance at their home on the 7600 block of Woodlawn Drive. The daughter was cited for underage consumption of alcohol and released to her mother.

JUNE 23

Drunken driving. Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on County Road I and Jackson Drive. A 35-year-old Mounds View woman was arrested for drunken driving and child endangerment. She had two children, ages 3 and 5, in the vehicle with her.
