BLAINE

DEC. 20

Theft. A Yorkshire terrier puppy was stolen from Four Paws and a Tail pet store, 120 Northtown Drive NE. The black and tan puppy was left in a non-secured area. The estimated value is $1,300.

DEC. 23

Property damage. A man from the 12000 block of Oak Park Boulevard NE. called police because someone knocked the head off of the snowman he made this year. He said this happens every year. The police report noted the snowman was made of snow.

DEC. 25

Property damage. Someone knocked a snowman's head off on the 12000 block of Oak Park Boulevard NE. This was the second time in less than a week.

CENTERVILLE

JAN. 1

Underage drinking. Police were dispatched to a home on the 1600 block of Peltier Lake Drive in regards to a loud party with underage drinking. Upon arrival, an officer could hear loud music and shouting coming from inside the home. A juvenile was observed drinking a can of beer. An officer was allowed into the home. Several people fled but were caught. One male stated he was the best hockey player around and he was going to get a scholarship for hockey and this incident was screwing it up for him. Everyone under the age 21 was given a personal breath test. Numerous minor consumption citations were issued.

COON RAPIDS

DEC. 24

Suspicious person. A man reported that an unknown male was ringing the doorbell at his home on the 2600 block of 131st Circle NW. The suspect was wearing gym shorts and socks and asking the homeowner to call the cops. The police found the suspect sitting on a snow bank. He was extremely intoxicated and kept changing his story as to why he was not wearing any shoes and why he was at this house. The suspect submitted a personal breath test reading of 0.244. He was taken to the hospital to have his feet examined and then placed on a 72-hour hold. He was mailed a citation for underage consumption.

FRIDLEY

JAN. 3

Medical. An adult male at Unity Hospital reported he accidentally shot himself in the foot while he was hunting fox in western Minnesota this morning.

JAN. 5

Noise complaint. Someone called the police to complain about the noise of snow plows at a business parking lot on the 1400 block of 73rd Avenue NE. The caller was advised that plows are exempt from the city noise ordinance.

DEC. 30

Curfew violation. A 9-year-old and a 12-year-old were riding their bicycles on County Road 10 at 4:13 a.m. and were almost struck by a vehicle. Both juveniles were taken home and cited for curfew violation.

RAMSEY

DEC. 18

Drugs. Officers were dispatched to the 14100 block of Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW. for a possible drug deal occurring in the parking lot. The caller reported two separate vehicles had pulled up to a vehicle and an exchange was made. The officers observed two vehicles parked in the corner of the gas station lot, directly next to one another. Officers found marijuana and methamphetamine.

DEC. 27

Disorderly conduct. The police were dispatched to Jacob's Tavern, 14077 St. Francis Blvd., regarding a fight inside the bar. Two people were taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and two were transported to the hospital.

ST. ANTHONY

DEC. 23

Robbery. The police were called to a robbery at the Mini Mart, 3259 Stinson Blvd. An employee said when she went to lock the door to the business, the suspect pulled the door open and had a knife in his hand. While the suspect was taking the cash out of the registers, the employee ran out the door. She saw the suspect exit the store and flee on foot.

JAN. 1

Theft. The police were called to Cub Foods, 3930 Silver Lake Road, regarding a theft report. A 19-year-old man had purchased a scratch-off ticket that was a $50 winner. He got in line at the service desk, set the ticket down to scratch off a second ticket and someone grabbed the winning ticket while he was preoccupied with the second ticket.
