Theft. A GPS unit and license tabs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 15000 block of Wintergreen Street NW.

COON RAPIDS

DEC. 30

Theft. A woman misplaced her wallet while at AMC Showplace theater, 10051 Woodcrest Dr. NW. When she went back to retrieve it, the wallet was gone.

Theft. Twelve empty beer kegs were stolen from Shortstop Bar and Grill, 421 Northdale Blvd. NW. Video surveillance shows footage of two males taking them and loading them into a van.

JAN. 2

Burglary. A woman reported that ashes from her deceased son and ashes from her boyfriend's father were stolen from her home on the 3800 block of 123rd Avenue NW.

JAN. 4

Vandalism. Profanity was written in black marker on a garage door in the 10300 block of Ibis Street NW.

FRIDLEY

DEC. 29

Suspicious activity. A woman called police to report that her phone will ring, but when she answers it, no one is there. She was advised to call her phone company.

DEC. 31

Drugs. A baggie of methamphetamine was found outside a home. It was entered into evidence at the police department.

JAN. 2

Weapon. Officers responded to an apartment on the 100 block of Charles Street NE. regarding a man with a machete. An intoxicated 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of property damage and disorderly conduct. The machete was found on the couch and placed into evidence.

JAN. 3

Fire. Police and fire responded to an apartment on the 5800 block of East River Road NE. regarding smoke in the hallway. A resident had fallen asleep while cooking and burnt the food.

JAN. 6

Trespassing. Officers responded to a home on Oakley Street on a report of an unknown, intoxicated man who had randomly entered the unlocked house and started dancing with a Barbie doll. Officers detained the 36-year-old man and discovered he had outstanding warrants. He was taken to jail.

HAM LAKE

JAN. 3

Theft. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 15900 block of Madison Street NE.

JAN. 5

Theft. Mail was stolen from a mailbox on the 13800 block of Terrace Road NE.

RAMSEY

JAN. 1

Property damage. A resident of the 15300 block of Krypton Street NW. observed three juveniles spray chocolate syrup on two vehicles in his driveway. The juveniles then ran through his yard to a home on the 5700 block of 155th Lane NW. An officer spoke to a 13-year-old girl and her father. She admitted to it and her father agreed to handle the punishment and talk to the parents of the other two juveniles.

ST. ANTHONY

JAN. 10

Theft. A woman reported her briefcase was stolen from her shopping cart at Cub Foods, 3930 Silver Lake Road A suspect was observed taking the briefcase and leaving the store on video surveillance.

Theft. Keys were stolen out of a vehicle at Lowry Grove Trailer Park on the 2500 block of Lowry Avenue. The keys were left in the ignition and the vehicle was left running.
