BLAINE

AUG. 14

Theft. Two knives were stolen from the glove box of an unlocked vehicle on the 11100 block of 7th Street NE.

AUG. 15

Indecent exposure. A 29-year-old man was cited for indecent exposure after he allegedly approached a woman with his shorts down and stroked his genitals at Paul Parkway and Ulysses Street NE.

CENTERVILLE

AUG. 9

Assault. A 54-year-old man was arrested for assault after a fight on the 1800 block of Main Street.

CHAMPLIN

AUG. 1

Theft. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle on the 11900 block of Business Park Boulevard.

AUG. 9

Theft. A bicycle was stolen from the 12400 block of Champlin Drive.

AUG. 11

Burglary. A burglary was reported on the 11000 block of Oregon Avenue; however, nothing was taken.

AUG. 19

Theft. Two bicycles were stolen from the 11600 block of Xylon Drive.

COON RAPIDS

AUG. 14

Theft. A man had reported a week ago that his birdhouse was stolen and that he has now located it nearby on the front patio of a home. The homeowner reported his 10-year-old daughter gave him the birdhouse. She admitted to stealing it. The birdhouse owner did not wish to pursue charges.

FRIDLEY

AUG. 7

Assist public. An officer went to a home on Meister Road NE. regarding a person that had locked themselves out on their balcony. A locksmith was contacted.

AUG. 8

Theft. Glasses and prescription medication were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at the Anoka County Library, 410 Mississippi St. NE.

AUG. 10

Assist public. A woman reported to police that she was locked out of her apartment on the 6300 block of Highway 65 NE. Officers arrived and woke up her boyfriend, who let her in.

Child found. A child was found on the 7800 block of East River Road NE. According to police reports, the child's father was found and he said the child was able to unlock the front door and sneak out while he was asleep.

AUG. 11

Check welfare. According to police reports, a mother was counseled about the dangers of leaving her two children alone in the vehicle while she was inside Target, 755 53rd Ave. NE.

LEXINGTON

AUG. 2

Drugs. Two men, ages 18 and 19, were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a motor vehicle after they were stopped for an equipment violation on Lake Drive and Albert Avenue.

Drugs. A 63-year-old man was arrested for a felony controlled substance crime after he was stopped for a lane violation on the 8800 block of Naples Street.

MOUNDS VIEW

AUG. 12

Forgery. A 22-year-old man was given 120 tablets of oxycodone with a falsified prescription at Walgreens, 2387 County Road 10.

AUG. 13

Burglary. Cash was stolen from Fastenal, 2214 County Road 10.

AUG. 17

Stolen property. A 19-year-old Mounds View woman was arrested for possession of stolen vehicle on the 5000 block of Old Highway 8.
