Theft. Cash and an iPod were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 13300 block of Partridge Street NW.

EAST BETHEL

MAY 31

Theft. A trailer hitch and ball were stolen off a vehicle on the 18600 block of Ulysses Street NE.

FRIDLEY

MAY 25

Animal complaint. A man called police to request their assistance in removing several squirrels from the interior walls of his home on 63rd Avenue NE. He was advised to contact an exterminator or pest control company.

MAY 28

Assist family. Officers mediated a situation between a man and his 17-year-old daughter at a home. The girl was refusing to go to school. She was upset because her father took her cellphone away. The girl agreed to go to school after she was advised to get a job and buy her own cellphone.

Public intoxication. Officers responded to the 7200 block of Central Avenue NE regarding a report of an intoxicated man, in the trees, carrying a butcher knife and bottle of vodka. The 49-year-old man was taken to a detox facility.

HAM LAKE

MAY 31

Fire. Lightning struck a house and started a fire in the 2300 block of 145th lane NE. No one was injured.

LEXINGTON

MAY 16

Theft. A 21-year-old woman was cited for theft after she allegedly was caught shoplifting at Twice Nice Thrift Store, 9201 S Highway Dr.

MOUNDS VIEW

MAY 24

Underage consumption. A 17-year-old boy was cited for underage consumption of alcohol, possession of alcohol, possession of tobacco and possession of drug paraphernalia on the 7600 block of Woodlawn Drive.

MAY 25

Disorderly conduct. A 46-year-old Mounds View man was arrested for disorderly conduct on the 2600 block of Lake Court Drive after officers responded to several 911 hang-up calls.

MAY 27

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated woman passed out. A 33-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process and then taken to a detox facility.

MAY 28

Curfew violation. A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were cited for curfew violation after they were caught looking into cars on Bona and Hillview roads.

OAK GROVE

JUNE 5

Fire. A home on the 22800 block of Zion Parkway caught fire from hot ashes placed in a garbage can. The home was a complete loss. Numerous fire departments responded and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.

RAMSEY

MAY 27

Theft. Numerous batteries and propane tanks were stolen off recreational vehicles at Pleasureland RV, 7900 Riverdale Dr. NW.

MAY 30

Drugs. A 45-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, driving after suspension, no proof of insurance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and no license plate light after he was stopped on the 14000 block of Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW.
