ANDOVER

MAY 11

Theft. A 2011 pickup truck in a driveway in the 4900 block of 170th Avenue NW. was stolen. Keys to the vehicle had been left in it. The truck was recovered later that afternoon in East Bethel, stripped.

MAY 12

Theft. Officers responded to Eveland Fields, 2275 Andover Blvd. NW., on a theft. Someone removed a steel door and stole a generator and pitching machine.

BLAINE

MAY 1

Theft. A 3-foot green alien statue was stolen from a front yard in the 100 block of 97th Avenue NE. The man who reported the theft called back two days later to let police know it had been returned.

CENTERVILLE

MAY 5

Theft. Two gnomes were stolen from a garden in the 7100 block of Brian Drive.

COON RAPIDS

MAY 9

Suspicious person. Officers responded to Maurice's, 12776 Riverdale Blvd. NW., regarding a suspicious person. An employee told officers a man in the store had told her, "I've always dreamed of dying in a females' clothing store." When officers questioned him, he denied saying anything about dying. He said he was singing along to a song playing on the store's radio.

FRIDLEY

MAY 4

Check welfare. While an officer was on a call, he noticed a boy crawling in the middle of the street on the 1000 block of 52nd Avenue. The 10-year-old had been injured while playing, police said. Paramedics checked him for injuries. His parents were located and they declined treatment.

MAY 7

Assist family. Officers responded to a home on the 1200 block of Onondaga Way NE. regarding an argument between husband and wife. The wife was arrested after fighting with an officer attempting to handcuff her so she could be transported to a detox facility, police said.

Burglary. Someone entered an attached, unlocked garage and stole two packs of cigarettes from an unlocked pickup truck in the 6800 block of Brookview Drive NE.

MAY 10

Disorderly conduct. A man was reportedly yelling and throwing rocks in the parking lot of Talecris Plasma Resources, 6582 University Av. NE. According to police reports, the man said he was angry after getting turned down for a plasma donation.

NOWTHEN

MAY 12

Theft. Someone called police to report a theft from an unlocked vehicle on the 20000 block of Baugh Street NW. Glasses and a lottery ticket were taken.
