OCT. 22

Burglary. Copper piping was stolen from a vacant home on the 2200 block of 140th Lane NW.

Property damage. Officers responded to a home on the 13600 block of Hidden Creek Drive NW. regarding property damage. A deer had run through the home's back window and exited through a patio door.

CHAMPLIN

OCT. 10

Theft. Jewelry and an iPod were stolen from a home on the 12000 block of Belle Aire Drive.

COON RAPIDS

OCT. 14

Theft. A man from a home on the 12000 block of Flintwood Circle NW. called police to report a theft. The man said his 22-year-old daughter had taken his 1999 Mercedes a week earlier and wouldn't return it. The daughter returned the vehicle about two hours after her father reported it stolen, according to police reports.

OCT. 15

Theft. A man reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle on the 2700 block of Coon Rapids Boulevard and stole an iPod, sunglasses and 100 CDs.

OCT. 10

Check welfare. Officers responded to a call about an extremely intoxicated man who had passed out outside Dominos Pizza at 7510 University Av. NE. Officers located the 43-year-old man sitting on the sidewalk. He had a high portable breath test result and had vomited on himself, police said. An ambulance transported him to a detox facility.

OCT. 15

Missing persons. Someone called police to report that two small children were walking on Hwy. 65 near I-694. An officer located the children, ages 5 and 6, and as the officer was speaking with the children, their mother called police to report them missing. An officer transported the children home -- they had gotten off their school bus at the wrong stop.

OCT. 17

Suspicious activity. Police received a report that a vehicle with a large amount of blood on it was parked in a lot on the 7800 block of East River Road NE. An officer found the vehicle and the blood did not appear real. An officer spoke to the owner who said it was fake blood and that the vehicle was used for a Halloween party. He was advised to wash it.

Theft. Scrap metal was stolen from a yard on the 3000 block of 166th Lane NE.

MOUNDS VIEW

OCT. 21

Domestic. Police responded to a domestic call at a home on Glenhaven Lane. According to police reports, an 11-year-old boy had threatened his grandmother with knives after being disciplined with a belt for his foul language. No charges were filed.

Theft. Someone stole a generator from the backyard of a home on the 2600 block of Ardan Avenue.

OCT. 22

Property damage. Officers responded to the 2100 block of Dickens Lane regarding a property damage report. Someone had put sand in the gas tank of a vehicle.

RAMSEY

OCT. 9

Theft. Officers responded to a call at Central Park, 7925 161st Av. NW., regarding a theft complaint. A woman had left her purse on the front seat of her locked vehicle and someone had smashed the window and stolen it.

OCT. 11

Theft. A man called police to report a theft at his home on the 15300 block of Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW. The man said he had not been home in six days. When he left, his wife and roommate were living there. When he returned, the roommate and his wife had moved out and taken everything -- including items belonging to him.
