Suspicious activity: Youths with flashlights and a lot of comings and goings were reported at a residence in the 3000 block of Perrot Avenue. A deputy determined that the youths were from a local church group and were helping paint and clean the home and yard.

Burglary: Jewelry was stolen from the 8200 block of 109th Place.

Drugs: A 21-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers observed his vehicle in Carl Eck Park parking lot after hours.

COON RAPIDS

Burglary: A resident of the 13100 block of Xavis Street NW. reported he'd had $117,000 stolen from a safe. There were no signs of forced entry to the safe, and based on evidence gathered, it could not be proved a burglary had occurred.

OCT. 23

Theft: A 1998 Buick Park Avenue was stolen from a driveway in the 124009 block of Jay Street NW. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

OCT. 25

Disturbing the peace: A resident of 123rd Lane NW. reported that an intoxicated man was knocking on her door and would not leave after being told he was at the wrong house. Officers located the 28-year-old man and determined he lived across the street. He was left in the care of his mother.

Vandalism: A resident of the 500 block of Glencoe Street NE. reported that someone had poured fruit punch on his front door.

LAUDERDALE

OCT. 21

Traffic arrest: A 73-year-old man was arrested and cited in the area of Larpenteur Avenue and Carl Street for driving after a license revocation, no insurance, no proof of insurance and failure to change his name/address on his driver's license.

MAHTOMEDI

Burning complaint: Authorities received a call from someone complaining about the smell of burning leaves in the area of Dylan Court and Shamrock Way. The report was determined to be unfounded.

Suspicious situation: Someone reported and removed a container hanging in a tree in the area of Warner Avenue and Juniper Street. A deputy determined the container was a geocache and put it back in the tree.

Theft: A 2002 Acura RSX was stolen from the 2600 block of Scotland Court.

Theft: A rear license plate tab was removed from a parked vehicle in the 1400 block of 10th Street.

WOODBURY

Suspicious activity: A man who chased his dog into the woods at Pioneer Park, 2670 Wimbledon Dr., reported coming upon a juvenile in an area where there were numerous homemade bongs, empty beer cans and Benadryl blister packs. The juvenile took off when the man grabbed his dog.
