Burglary. A safe was stolen from a home on the 1000 block of 189th Avenue NE.

AUG. 15

Theft. A bottle of vodka was reported stolen from Merwin's Liquor, 1559 Larpenter Ave. An employee gave police the license plate number of the suspect's vehicle.

FRIDLEY

AUG. 5

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to the 6900 block of East River Road NE. regarding a teenager riding a bicycle and wearing a hat with a penis on it and making obscene gestures. Officers located the teen, confiscated the hat and explained to him his parents could pick it up from the property department at the police station.

AUG. 17

Assist public. A man from the 7300 block of Taylor Street NE. threatened to kill his girlfriend's dog. He was angry because her dog had killed his kittens.

LAUDERDALE

AUG. 14

Fraud or forgery. A woman reported several unauthorized transactions on both her credit and debit cards even though she had both in her possession.

LEXINGTON

AUG. 14

Drunken driving. A 44-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was observed going the wrong way at Pascal Avenue and Flowerfield Road.

MOUNDS VIEW

AUG. 18

Theft. Someone stole 156 packs of gum, a bottle of pop and a candy bar at Holiday, 2732 Hwy. 10.

NEW BRIGHTON

AUG. 22

DWI/Damage to property accident. A man was arrested for 3rd-degree DWI and property damage after crashing his vehicle into a building in the area of Silver Lake Road and 15th Street NW.

NOWTHEN

AUG. 19

Theft. A 1999 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from Steve's Repair, 18861 Baugh Street NW. The keys were left in the vehicle. It was recovered a week later at Twin Lakes Park.

ROSEVILLE

AUG. 19

Suspicious incident. A juvenile reported being followed by dark blue minivan in the area of County Road C and Mackubin Street. The juvenile said a man in the van asked him if he wanted a ride and when he ignored him the man yelled at him to get in the van. The juvenile ran away at that point.

ST. ANTHONY

AUG. 10

Assault. A 16-year-old girl was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct after she attacked a juvenile female in the parking lot of Freedom Value Center, 3810 Silver Lake Road. An 18-year-old male suspect was mailed a citation for assault and disorderly conduct after a videotape revealed he was involved in the incident.

WOODBURY

AUG. 16

Suspicious activity. Police received a call about someone possibly living out of a vehicle and trailer in a parking lot in the 6100 block of Woodbine Avenue. It was determined people were loading the trailer with used goods to be shipped to family and friends in Africa.

AUG. 20

Suspicious activity. A man with a pick ax and wheelbarrow was reported digging in a cemetery in the 7500 block of Steepleview Road. The caller was concerned he was defiling graves. An officer contacted the man who was an employee of the cemetery preparing a grave.
