Animal concern. Someone in the 4000 block of Osgood Circle reported that several stray dogs had come onto their property and killed their chickens.

Theft. About 3,300 pounds of used cooking oil were stolen from four different locations within the city.
Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a woman living in a storage unit at U-Haul Moving and Storage, 9890 Central Av. NE. They arrested a 48-year-old woman for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Property damage. A portable toilet was damaged in the 10200 block of Goose Lake Parkway.

Suspicious activity. A used pedestal sink was left near the front door of a home in the 6100 block of Stinson Boulevard NE.
Civil dispute. A woman from the 6000 block of 3rd Street NE. reported that her friend was refusing to return her shoes, and that she was holding onto her friend’s property as collateral. An officer attempted to mediate the issue between the parties.

Fraud. A man from the 200 block of 58th Avenue NE. reported that his girlfriend of nine years had used his credit card to make several thousand dollars worth of unauthorized purchases.

Traffic arrest. A 36-year-old woman was arrested and cited for driving after suspension, operating an uninsured vehicle and having no proof of insurance on demand, in the area of Hwy. 280 and Broadway Street.
OAKDALE

Found property. Police received a report of a topper falling off a pickup truck making a high-speed turn in the area of Greystone Avenue and 4th Street. A witness told police that the truck had initially stopped but then sped off without retrieving the topper. The topper matched models stored at a nearby truck accessory business.

Trespassing. Two juvenile males and a man were found trespassing on the roof of Maplewood Middle School, 2410 Holloway Av.

Theft. A 2010 Kia Soul was stolen from a parking lot in the 7100 block of Silver Lake Road.
Theft. A 2000 Harley Davidson Roadster valued at $10,000 was stolen from a garage in the 5300 block of St. Stephen Street.

Weapon. A resident from the 5700 block of 170th Lane NW. reported that a neighbor was shooting an airsoft gun at squirrels. The neighbor was advised to stop doing it.

Warrant arrest. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 2000 block of Silver Lake Road, and arrested a 35-year-old man on a warrant.

Suspicious activity. Two juveniles at home alone called authorities when a man they didn’t recognize knocked on their front door. A deputy responding to the call located the man, who turned out to be a neighbor who said he wanted to share some cucumbers.
