Disturbance. A deputy helped race officials remove a man who had gotten onto the demolition derby track at the Washington County Fair, 12300 40th St.

AUG. 8

Theft. A leaf blower was stolen from a work trailer while landscaping employees were working on a property in the 1700 block of Larpenteur Avenue.

AUG. 11

Fraud. Police investigating a fraudulent credit card transaction determined from security video footage that the victim left the card at a business in the 1500 block of Larpenteur Avenue. The footage showed an employee picking up the card, and it appeared the employee then contacted a friend who used it for a fraudulent purchase.

AUG. 12

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Onondaga Street NE. on a report of two juvenile males on bicycles who the caller thought were using drugs. Officers located the two boys, who denied doing drugs. They let officers check their pockets for contraband. The boys were in possession of goldfish crackers.

Noise complaint. Officers responded to the 100 block of Charles Street NE. on a report of a domestic disturbances. Officers determined it was a television.

AUG. 14

Theft. Change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 5700 block of Jackson Street NE.

AUG. 16

Animal complaint. Officers responded to the 6200 block of Carol Drive NE. on a report of a cat stuck in the steering column of a vehicle. Officers were able to free the cat from the wiring of the steering column and place it in a pet crate.

AUG. 8

Flying complaint. Authorities were unable to locate a plane that had been reported flying low and buzzing docks on White Bear Lake.

AUG. 10

Property damage. The tire of a vehicle was reported slashed overnight in the 100 block of Iris Street.

MOUNDS VIEW

AUG. 18

Theft. A 22-year-old man was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle on the 2700 block of Mounds View Boulevard.

AUG. 20

Drunken driving. A 51-year-old woman was arrested at Mounds View Boulevard and Quincy Street for drunken driving, driving after revocation, no proof of insurance, expired registration and failure to maintain a lane of traffic.

NEW BRIGHTON

AUG. 10

Theft. A bag of prescription medication and $100 in coins were taken from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of 5th Street.

RAMSEY

AUG. 6

Suspicious activity. Officers responded to the 15000 block of Nowthen Boulevard NW. on a report of a white substance, in a plastic bag, found in the parking lot on the school grounds. Officers confiscated and destroyed the substance, which appeared to be salt.

Animal complaint. Officers responded to Armstrong Boulevard NW. and Alpine Drive NW. on a report of two raccoons in a lane of traffic.

AUG. 9

Weapon. Officers responded to the 8100 block of 173rd Avenue NW. on a report of shots heard in the area. Officers found a dog trainer who was training his dog using blanks.
