Burglary. A coin collection and cash were stolen from a home on the 100 block of Main Street NW. There were no signs of forced entry.

SEPT. 26

Suspicious activity. Authorities made contact with a male who'd been reported looking in a garage and acting strangely in the 400 block of Birchwood Avenue. The male told a deputy he was looking for a frisbee he lost the night before.

Theft. Political signs were stolen from the yard of a home on the 11300 block of Jersey Avenue.

Traffic arrest. A 19-year-old male was arrested and cited for inattentive driving, expired registration and no insurance after being involved in an accident in the area of Larpenteur and Cleveland avenues.

FRIDLEY

SEPT. 30

Suspicious person. Officers responded to a home on the 5800 block of 4th Street NE. regarding an unknown person knocking on their door. Officers located the suspect, an intoxicated neighbor who had lost his way home.

Drugs. An officer located two individuals who were reportedly involved in suspicious activity on the 1000 block of East Lake Moore Drive NE. A 39-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after she consented to a search of her purse, and pipes with methamphetamine residue were recovered.

OCT. 5

Suspicious activity. A man reported that an unknown person, dressed like a clown and armed with a machete, chased him on foot near Fireside Drive and Central Avenue. There was no evidence to corroborate the story.

MAPLEWOOD

SEPT. 26

Parking violation. A 34-year-old man was cited for a handicap parking violation and his vehicle was towed from the 1300 block of Cope Avenue.

Dumping complaint. Small engine parts were reported left in a ditch in the 14000 block of Lynch Road. The complainant said dumping has been going on there since last spring.

SEPT. 26

Theft. A 5-foot wind chime, valued at $300, was stolen from a home on the 3000 block of County Road H.

NEW BRIGHTON

SEPT. 28

Theft. A bike worth $3000 was taken from the back of a truck parked overnight in the 900 block of County Road D.

SEPT. 26

Theft. Copper piping was stolen from an air conditioning unit at Bremer Bank, 2401 Lowry Av.

OCT. 1

Public intoxication. Officers responded to Cub Foods, 3930 Silver Lake Rd., regarding an intoxicated person. The 38-year-old man had a reading of .24 alcohol concentration and was taken to the hospital.

WOODBURY

SEPT. 28

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 5800 block of Fawn Trail Circle called police after hearing a crashing sound upstairs in their home. An officer checked the house and found a shelf that had fallen off the wall in a bedroom.
