Theft. Money and paperwork were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 20600 block of Buchanan Street NE.

FALCON HEIGHTS

APRIL 30

Traffic stop. Police attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Roselawn and Snelling avenues. A pursuit was initiated when the vehicle fled but due to safety concerns related to the suspect's driving conduct it was abandoned. The vehicle was located, unoccupied, at the registered owner's address. The owner, a 77-year-old man, was unaware his vehicle had been taken and returned.

Theft. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle on the 13400 block of Quincy Street NE.

MAY 2

Theft. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on the 13500 block of Highway 65 NE.

MAY 3

Neighbor complaint. A resident in the 3000 block of Kevlin Court reported a neighbor flying a drone over their property. Authorities contacted the neighbor who said he was flying the drone over his own property, not the complainant's, to take overhead photos of his garden.

MAY 3

Suspicious activity. A man who told a deputy he was looking for agates and was unaware that he was trespassing at the county gravel pit on May Avenue was cited for the offense. The man's vehicle, parked in front of a "No Trespassing" sign, initially drew the deputy's attention.

MOUNDS VIEW

MAY 5

Assault. A 21-year-old man was arrested for assault, trespassing and disorderly conduct on the 7700 block of Knollwood Drive.

NEW BRIGHTON

MAY 1

Theft. Someone broke into a storage unit in the 500 block of County Road D and stole a mattress, bed frame and some chairs.

MAY 4

DWI. A man was arrested for 4th degree DWI, giving false information to police and a warrant after an officer discovered him passed out behind the wheel of a car in the 200 block of County Road E2.

NOWTHEN

MAY 4

Theft. An iPad and an iPod were stolen from an locked vehicle on the 18700 block of Periodt Street NW.

WEST LAKELAND TOWNSHIP

APRIL 30

Loose horses. Authorities searching in the pouring rain were unable to locate several horses reported running loose in traffic in the area of Manning Avenue and 24th Street.
