Unseasonably warm and very dry conditions will prevail across the interiorSouthwest through midweek, which is bad news for firefighters who are battlingthe large wildfires across the region.The afternoon relative humidity near the large Shultz Fire outside ofFlagstaff, Ariz., will only range from 5 to 10 percent Wednesday and Thursday.
The closest areas of moist air will be far to the east in Texas and out alongthe California coast.
