No Spurs-Wolves local TV tonight, but you can watch Jonny Flynn's return online

Wolves point guard gets rehab stint in D League

December 3, 2010 at 9:21PM

Just like Kevin Love's 30/30 game against the Knicks last month, tonight's Wolves-Spurs game in San Antonio won't be carried on local TV in the Twin Cities, either.

You can, however, if you're interested or just snowed in, watch Jonny Flynn's first game back from July hip surgery in the D League online with the league's "Futurecast" here....
Game time for the Skyforce's game against the Iowa Energy is 7 p.m., 30 minutes before the Wolves tip off.

"This is my opening night," Flynn told reporters after the Skyforce shootaroound this morning.

Wolves player development coach Darrick Martin is with Flynn in Sioux Falls, where Martin played back at the beginning of his career in 1994.

"He told me it's loud in here," Flynn said.

He'll be thrown into a new system with new players for one night -- or maybe three, if he plays back-to-back games back in Sioux Falls next weekend, as Kurt Rambis wishes.

But Rambis says it'll all be fine because the Skyforce coaches will teach Flynn a few plays and he'll have Miami draft pick Dexter Pittman on the floor to run pick-and-rolls with.
