Gov. Tim Pawlenty has spent many days of the last year out of the public eye.

According to our calculations, in the last 225 Public Events Schedules the governor's office has sent to reporters the phrase "No Public Events Scheduled" has appeared 172 times. The schedules cover the period from Dec. 22, 2009 to Dec. 23, 2010 (some of the schedules cover more than one day.)

Here's what on the docket for Thursday:

Governor Pawlenty's Public Events Schedule for Thursday, December 23

Thursday, December 23

No Public Events Scheduled.

The lack of public events is not new for the governor. Here's a post we did on the subject just about this time last year.
