No injuries from train derailment in Plymouth

Twenty-two train cars derailed on Sunday, leaving the cars strewn along the tracks in a wooded area of Plymouth.

According to the city's public safety department, a Canadian Pacific train went off the tracks at Northwest Boulevard near Schmidt Lake Road around 1 p.m.

No one was injured, and crews did not discover any leaks in the cars, which contained molten sulfur, asphalt and lumber.

Canadian Pacific crews also spent Sunday monitoring air quality in the area.
