No GOP Senate endorsement yet: On to Round 8 in the wee hours

Process has become a stamina game

Minnesota GOP delegates will enter an eighth round of balloting early Saturday morning after neither of the two remaining candidates failed to pick up the required 60 percent of votes.

Here are the results:

Chris Dahlberg, 912 votes, 54 percent

Mike McFadden, 744 votes, 44.1 percent

No endorsement: 29

Blank ballots: 538

The bleary-eyed delegates are ready to enter the eighth round. Stay tuned.
