With country acts, boy bands and pop divas young and old making up the bulk of next year's major concert calendar so far, Twin Cities rock fans can rejoice about at least one group with loud guitars putting on a big arena show – even if it's that one group critics most love to hate.

Nickelback will return to Target Center on March 6 about a month into its "No Fixed Address" tour. Tickets go on sale Nov. 15 at prices yet to be announced through AXS.com, the arena box office or by calling 1-888-9-AXS-TIX. Former "Gossip Girl" actress Taylor Mormsen's band the Pretty Reckless will open.

Bawdy, brawny rocker Chad Kroeger and his Vancouver-reared quartet have become regulars at Target Center, with prior pyro-filled shows there in 2012, 2010 and 2009. Proof we critics don't automatically go in hating them, the latter concert did get a favorable review from us.
