Is Disney souring on the man some call America's Loudest Movie Producer?

Hmm. Never heard an insider muse before. Usually they "say" or perhaps "confide," but this must be a remarkably contemplate example of the genre. Anyway, the repercussions will probably be simple: A) No more Nicholas Cage, and B) enough with witless noisy movies full of CGI. Yes, Bruckmeister did the "Pirates" movies, but they worked because the first one was great, and didn't treat its audiences like idiots who have be distracted with explosions and sugar every 37 seconds. The next two got louder and bigger, and lost much of its charm. Why?

All movies are the same film over and over. There are only two or three stories. But otherwise, yes, that's the problem.

BTW: "Industryite" is my new favorite stupid word. Let's beat it to death this week.
