Next week: Vikings at Chicago
Marc Trestman finally landed an NFL head coaching job and will bring his offensive expertise to a team that has made defense a priority for a decade.
BEARS WEEK 1
Chicago 24, Cincinnati 21
The Bears rallied from an 11-point deficit to win their opener at home. Jay Cutler threw a pair of touchdown passes, the second to Brandon Marshall with 4:41 remaining, to lift Chicago. All-Pro cornerback Charles Tillman intercepted Andy Dalton twice.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Jay Cutler, quarterback
The Bears added Marshall last season to beef up their receiving corps, and Trestman's hire should mean more innovation for veteran QB Cutler. He threw for 242 yards against the Bengals.
OUTLOOK
The Lions relied on a traditional four-man rush to bedevil Vikings QB Christian Ponder. The Bears figure to throw in more blitzes. Christian Ponder is on the hot seat. Outlook: Horns down.
