Tax time is coming to the Minnesota governor's race about three months late.
Next week, well after the April 15 IRS filing date, DFL candidate Margaret Anderson Kelliher and Mark Dayton will both voluntarily release their 2009 tax returns for inspection.
At a news conference Friday, Dayton wouldn't disclose any secrets about the coming release.
"You'll learn that I paid my taxes," he said.
DFLer Matt Entenza and Republican Tom Emmer have refused to pledge they, too, would release their tax returns. Independence Party candidate Tom Horner said he'd think about a making a voluntary disclosure.
