It is the middle of winter meaning their is not an abundance of road construction going on. But just as with a house, there is always something that needs fixing or attending to on the roads, and next week brings a few closures and restrictions that will affect drivers.

On Tuesday look for the left lane on northbound 35 to be closed between Deuce Road near the New Market/Elko exit and the I-35E/I-35W split. That will begin in the morning and wrap up by 2 p.m.

In Lino Lakes, the right lane of northbound 35E will be closed between County Road J and Main Street on Tuesday until about 1 p.m. for sign repair.

On Wednesday, MnDOT crews will be conducting survey work near the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Look for the right lane in both directionsof Hwy. 5 from I-494 to the Minnesota River to be closed for survey work. In addition, the ramp from westbound Hwy. 55 to eastbound and westbound Hwy. 5 will be closed.

Look for restrictions on the ramps from Shepard Road and exits to Norfolk and Edgcumbe to be shut down.

More survey work on Thursday on I-35 in the south metro. The left lane in both directions will be closed between 162nd Street in Lakeville and Crystal Lake Road in Burnsville.
