News of Pawlenty reaches the Economist

The great English byline-free magazine says: "Mr Pawlenty is coy about his ambitions, but he is plainly looking beyond Minnesota's borders....All this is supposed to build a base of support. But there is also room for disaster. "

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is "in some ways a natural antidote to Barack Obama," the Economist says in a short piece about the man from Eagan. But warns Pawlenty, "there is also room for disaster."

"In the era of tea-party conservatives, Mr Pawlenty is calculatedly veering to the right," the magazine says.
