A 53-year-old New Ulm woman died in a head-on crash Thursday morning in Brown County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Karen Branch was driving a pickup truck westbound on Hwy. 14 near 250th Avenue east of the town of Sleepy Eye, Minn., a little after 6 a.m. when she collided with a van traveling east.
Branch died. The other driver suffered injuries that were not critical.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
