It was only a year ago that Peter Wolf Crier's debut "Inter-Be" came out internationally via Jagjaguwar and generated a good buzz, but the duo actually released the disc themselves in the fall of 2009. So it's no surprise Peter Pisano and Brian Moen are ready to go with another one. Titled "Garden of Arms," the sophomore release is due Sept. 5 on Jagjaguwar, and it sounds like they followed a similar, raw formula like before. It was once again self-produced in Moen's home studio (with studio ace Adam Krinsky assisting as engineer), and the twosome played most of the music on it. Zach Rogue of Rogue Wave, for whom PWC toured as an opener last year, does sing guest vocals on one of the tracks.

The label has already issued the first single, "Right Away," which you can hear here. Can't wait for the rest. Look for a tour and release party announcement soon.
