Severe thunderstorms will erupt late today across parts of the westernPlains, from southwestern Nebraska through western Texas. The strongest ofthese storms will contain damaging hail, wind gusts over 60 mph and a fewtornadoes. Damage to crops and livestock in the region is possible.Through the overnight hours, these storms will strengthen and become morewidespread across the region.
