New FBI field office by the numbers

A few facts about the FBI Regional Field Office for which ground was broken Tuesday in Brooklyn Center:

$61 million The expected cost of construction.

20 YEARS The length of the FBI's lease, at $6.4 million annually.

700 The estimated number of construction-related jobs created by the project.

150,000 SQUARE FEET Amount of usable space, plus a 200-car parking structure.

$3.1 MILLION The value of the land deeded from the city to Molasky Group for the project.

35 The number of FBI field offices being built or planned since the Sept. 11 attacks.
