New DWI gets lawyer suspended again

From my colleague Abby Simons: A Minnesota attorney and repeat drunken driver should be suspended for a minimum of two months following his fifth DWI conviction last year, the Minnesota Supreme Court ordered. It's the second suspension for Willie Herman Davis Jr., 47, of Woodbury, a partner at Udoibok, Davis & Tupa in Minneapolis. In 2007, the court stayed the suspension as long as Davis complied with criminal probation and abstained from alcohol. He was placed on disciplinary probation for seven years. Davis, who had picked up four DWI convictions in Minnesota since 2000, was convicted in January 2010 of felony drunken driving in Wisconsin. If he is reinstated after two months, he may return to probation. Davis must also pay $900 in costs.
