New concerts: Raitt, Aerosmith, Greg Lake, Steve Martin, ZZ Top, more

Raitt will kick off the State Fair grandstand series.

Bonnie Raitt will kick off the State Fair grandstand series on Aug. 23. She's promoting her first studio album in seven years, "Slipstream," which drops April 10. Tickets will go on sale April 14, according to Raitt's publicist. The fair hasn't announced details yet.

Earlier today, we reported Aerosmith's June 16 show at Target Center with Cheap Trick. Tickets, priced from $39.50 to $149.50, go on sale Saturday.

Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake & Palmer fame headlines the Varsity on May 10. Dick Dale returns to the Cabooze on July 10. ZZ Top teams up with 3 Doors Down and Gretchen Wilson June 29 at Grand Casino Amphitheatre in Hinckley.

In Duluth's Bayfront Park, Steve Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers will perform bluegrass Aug. 5 and Everclear and Sugar Ray will rock on Aug. 4.
