A southern Minnesota chiropractor is accused of sexually assaulting a second person during an appointment, this time an in-law.

Dillon Carter Denisen, 43, was charged Monday in Mower County District Court with third-degree criminal sexual conduct in connection with an assault that occurred in 2018 at his clinic in Grand Meadow.

Denisen, of Grand Meadow, was charged by summons and is due in court on Jan. 9. Court records list him as a “self-represented litigant.” The Minnesota Star Tribune has reached out to Denisen for a response to the allegations in both criminal complaints.

Charges in the initial case were filed on June 27, after a man told sheriff’s detectives that he went to Denisen’s clinic for back pain on June 23. He said his pants and underwear were pulled down by Denisen, who then massaged his hips. During an appointment on June 25, Denisen performed oral sex on him, the man alleged.

Ahead of revoking his license to practice in September, the state Board of Chiropractic Examiners found that Denisen sexually assaulted five patients from 2020 to June of this year. One of those victims was a juvenile, the board’s revocation order noted.

According to the latest complaint:

After hearing about the earlier charges, a man reached out to law enforcement about his experience with Denisen. He said he’s known Denisen for many years and was married to one of his relatives.

The man said that Denisen would give family members free adjustments at gatherings. He said Denisen sexually touched him as least twice during these gatherings.

While at the clinic in Grand Meadow, according to the man, Denisen performed oral sex on him.

A law enforcement search of Denisen’s patient records shows the man was treated about nine times from March 2011 to March 2018.
