Assorted goods

The latest challenge on "Cupcake Wars" has bakers/warriors designing baked goods based on the works of director Tim Burton. The "Willy Wonka" muffin must be scrumptious, but I think I'll pass on the glazed doughnut inspired by "Sweeney Todd." 7 p.m. Cooking Channel

Flying solo

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel have done just fine since they officially split, but it's still nice to see the old friends get back together every once in a while. I feel the same way about Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the team behind the British office of "The Office." They haven't collaborated for a while, but Merchant does make an appearance on "Comedy Bang! Bang!" 10 p.m. IFC

I know you want me

On "Pitbull: Fame & Fortune," the international pop star gives correspondent Michelle Caruso-Cabrera tips on how to become a zillionaire. Sounds like a worthwhile investment of time, although if his plan hinges on how I look without my shirt on, I'm doomed. 9 p.m. CNBC
