On death's door

"The Day Hitler Died" analyzes information gleaned from recently rediscovered tapes of interviews with those in the Nazi leader's inner circle, detailing his thoughts and actions in those final days as his enemies closed in. The evidence does much to debunk theories that Hitler survived the end of World War II. 7 p.m. Smithsonian Channel

The rhythm is gonna get you

Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Los Lobos are among the high-profile artists dissecting "The Latin Explosion: A New America." The documentary, which looks at progress made in all arts, but especially pop music, is narrated by John Leguizamo. 8 p.m. HBO

We need to talk about Kevin

"Kevin Kling: Lost and Found" celebrates a local favorite with a new film that celebrates his storytelling skill with a blend of performance and documentary. Local audiences will certainly be charmed by Kling's regionally influenced humor, but will the rest of the country care? Twin Cities Public Television has a deal in place for national distribution on PBS for next spring. 9 p.m. TPT, Ch. 2
